Rotaract Club of Waknaghat ,the youth wing of Rotary Club of Shimla is an institutional based organisation which encourages and fosters the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. Waknaghat was a secluded area of Himachal Pradesh, yet the spirited and enthusiastic youth of our club have successfully lead to progressive emergence of this place.
Chartered in 2009, our club is known for its hard work and passion towards educational and social independence. Students being a great storehouse of energy and ideas our club comprises of engineers from different trades who channelize their energy in constructive ways.It also provides a vehicle for student cohesiveness and professional identity with social work profession.The cordial relationship between Rotaract Waknaghat and Rotaract District 3080 has lead to some captivating and victorious events which have been appreciated all over the region.
Over the years the Rotaract Club all over the world have strived to work hard for those who need
to be empowered and we here at Rotaract Club of Waknaghat are proud to take part in addressing
many of today’s critical issues such as children at risk, poverty, hunger, environment and
illiteracy. Starting from several donation drives,tree plantation,blood donation
camps,cleanliness drives, and teaching projects we believe that the change starts with us. We
believe in working for the betterment of humankind and we believe that serving the needful is
the greatest deed of all. RACW has never retracted its steps from making a positive change in
the society and rest assured, we never will.
We uphold our motto and contribute our bit to make this world order politically powerful,
socially stable, economically efficient and spiritually strong.
